Criaturas del folclore japones, originalmente considerados como demonios o espiritus temibles, heraldos de la guerra, despues fueron suavizados por el budismo y se convirtieron en protectores espiritus de las montañas, aunque aun siguieron siendo peligrosos.

Creatures from the folklore of Japan, originaly they were considered as disruptive demons and harbingers of war, after they were softened by the buddism, however, into one of protective, if still dangerous, spirits of the mountains and forests.
