Alicanto

Very cool picture, but I was a bit surprised what saw what it was.

I've seen several depictions of the Alicanto ranging from finch-like, a crow recently, and several that look a lit like the classical Phoenix.

This is the first eagle/hawk/bird of prey depiction I've seen and I admit when I first saw it, before I saw the title, I thought it was a thunderbird, but without the weather that gave it the name.

This isn't a complaint mind you, just my honest thoughts. It's a lovely piece for a fascinating creature.
